Lawmaker’s health deteriorates
Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament Betty Nambooze Bakileke is a woman we should all put in our prayers.
The lawmaker’s life has been through a series of hits, the latest being a slip in the bathroom that almost became fatal. Initial reports indicated that the legislator’s life was out of danger and is recuperating at a hospital in Bugolobi.
Despite the early promise of recovery, the legislator has remained hospitalised, leading many to speculate that she sustained injuries far worse than many believe.

Sources close to Nambooze indicate that she did not suffer any kind of internal bleeding.
It should be remembered that the legislator has been having health issues since the scuffles in Parliament in 2017 left her with a broken spine and her subsequent arrest after the death of Hon Ibrahim Abiriga left her reportedly tortured.
